THE GOAL

•tolerate extreme temperatures

•survive in both wet and dry conditions

•can grow in varying levels of oxygen

•remain viable in soil for many years

Some weeds are more susceptible to herbicides at certain times of the day and even during specific times of the year. Knowing a weed’s weaknesses can enhance a herbicide’s effectiveness.
